Located in Gosford, Coastal Archery is the only professional indoor archery range on the Central Coast, allowing archers to shoot up to 18 metres which is the official indoor tournament distance.
No experience is necessary – we can teach you to shoot a bow!
Membership is not required! Archers may attend on a casual basis and beginners are welcome.
Coastal Archery offers tuition, coaching and equipment hire.
We can cater for birthday parties, corporate events, team building. group bookings, schools and scouts. We welcome children from 7 years and older to try archery.
Competitions are held monthly usually on the 3rd Sunday afternoon.
We have facilities for equipment repairs, tuning and arrow making.

COASTAL ARCHERY IS A PRACTICE RANGE, TEACHING FACILITY, COMPETITION VENUE & SHOP ALL IN ONE PLACE.
Coastal Archery is a privately owned and independent indoor archery range, open to beginner to experienced archers. and because we are independent, that means you can shoot at our range without being a member of an association.
It also means that if you want to try archery, you can drop in and have a go. There is no waiting for beginners courses or giving up several weekends to learn the basics!
Run by Craig Hair, Level 1 KSL International Archery Certified, Craig has eight years of being an instructor and a coach and 15 years in archery.
Our indoor range caters for all age groups from seven years and up.
And if you get the 'bug', we can put together package deals for you to purchase your own set up through our on-site shop! >>>

Birthday Parties
We are the only venue that can provide an archery party in the area – and what a unique experience it will be. We can cater for up to 30 people for birthday parties from age 7 and upwards.
Usually your birthday party will be up to three hours and includes tuition, and equipment if required.
Pricing starts at $250 for up to ten guests and then $15 per person over ten. You have exclusive use of the venue.
You have the option of bringing your own food (please note we don't have a kitchen), or we can arrange catering.

Corporate and team building events
What better way to get your colleagues together. We can facilitate your corporate and team building events.
After work 'wind-down time'
Archery is one of the most relaxing sports yet it also requires focus. Shooting arrows at the end of the day is a great way to wind down for workers and students.
So drop in after work and hit some bull's eyes!
General Rules
No alcohol is to be consumed before or during archery.
Enclosed in footwear must be worn.
Patrons are asked to observe all safety instructions and be courteous to other archers.
SCHOOL, SCOUT & SOCIAL GROUPS
ADD ARCHERY TO YOUR SCHOOL SPORTS PROGRAM OR RANGE OF ACTIVITIES!
School Groups
Coastal Archery hosts school groups for local schools around the area, allowing students to take part in archery for their school sport.
Students learn the basics of shooting a bow and all the safety aspects of being on a shooting range. Over time, the coaches work with the students to fine tune their skills.
All Coastal Archery instructors have working with children certificates.
Home School Groups
In addition to School Groups, we also cater for home school groups, allowing children to take part in a sport and be amongst other home school children.
Scout groups
Similar to school groups we also cater for scout groups.
Adult social groups
We welcome social groups to take advantage of our facility which is becoming popular with Men's Groups.
Equipment
Coastal archery has a range of bows suitable for children from around seven years of age to adult. We mainly use recurve bows (the type of bow used in the olympics), and we shoot at distances from 10 metres upwards, to suit everyone's ability while they are learning.
INDOOR ARCHERY COMPETITIONS
CHALLENGE YOURSELF…
Because we are an independent archery range and not a club, we attract archers from the Hunter down to Sydney to take part in our comps. You don't have to be a member of a club or association to take part.
Double Vegas Round – 3rd Sunday of each month

We shoot the Vegas Indoor Round usually on the third Sunday of each month.

Choose between 3 spot or single target.

Maximum arrow diameter permitted is 10.7mm (please note that World Archery Limit is 9.3mm)

It is a 30 arrow competition.

Shoot fees are $25 per person.

Medals are awarded if there are 2 or more people in a division.
IFAA Indoor Round

We shoot the IFAA Indoor Round usually on the first Sunday of each month.

Choose between 5 spot or single target.

Maximum arrow diameter permitted is 10.7mm (please note that World Archery Limit is 9.3mm)

It is a 60 arrow competition.

Shoot fees are $25 per person

Medals are awarded if there are more than 2 people in a division.
