School and scout groups
School Groups
Coastal Archery hosts school groups for local schools around the area, allowing students to take part in archery for their school sport.
Students learn the basics of shooting a bow and all the safety aspects of being on a shooting range. Over time, the coaches work with the students to fine tune their skills.
All Coastal Archery instructors have working with children certificates.
Home School Groups
In addition to School Groups, we also cater for home school groups, allowing children to take part in a sport and be amongst other home school children.

Scout groups
Similar to school groups we also cater for scout groups.
Equipment
Coastal archery has a range of bows suitable for children from around seven years of age to adult. We mainly use recurve bows (the type of bow used in the olympics), and we shoot at distances from 10 metres upwards, to suit everyone's ability while they are learning.
